‘S106’ Agreement for Bridgemead

A request has been received for visibility of the Section 106 agreement, signed by Winchester City Council, that covers the allocation of housing in Bridgemead, limiting it to those with a clear local connection – it is here.

Meon Valley Public Transport

Our regular village bus service has now been reduced to operate only two journeys to Bishops Waltham and Petersfield on Wednesdays (Petersfield Market Days) – the timetable is here.
The Meon Valley Community Bus continues to provide a vital service running shopping trips to Fareham, Winchester, Hedge End, Petersfield and Waterlooville. The full timetable and further information is here.

Further details, including train times from Alton and Petersfield to London, is in the County Council’s local transport timetable.

As an experiment, the South Downs National Park Authority has supported a Weekend Rambler bus service running from Petersfield to Winchester and calling at the Warnford Road bus stops.  Running until Sunday 27 September it provides 3 return journeys each operating day.
