Lay-by A32 outside the shop – starting 19th February
The work comprises extending the existing layby on the east side of the A32 Warnford Road and the widening of Allen’s Lane to facilitate additional room for moving traffic when passing vehicles which are parked outside the Post Office/Village Store. The Works will be carried out using 3 way temporary traffic signals which will be in operation throughout the duration of the Works, which will take approximately 2 weeks weather permitting.
Winchester City Council has designed and will supervise these Works on behalf of Hampshire County Council’s Strategic Transport Team who are providing the funding.
