To: Peter Riley <riley.koti@outlook.com>

Dear residents,

A couple of weeks ago, during an inspection by our Parish Council of equipment at the Recreation Ground, it was found that bolts had been loosened on the swings.  It is believed that this could only have been the result of deliberate action, whether in pursuit of an attempt at metal theft, or the result of a malicious act.

This incident adds to the catalogue of vandalism at the Grounds and at the Meon Hall.  Your Neighbourhood Watch has reason to believe that the perpetrator of some of the damage might not live in Meonstoke, Corhampton or Exton, but we ask anyone with information or suspicions to contact us.

Quite obviously, parents should be alert to the condition of Recreation Ground equipment before allowing their children to use the facilities.

Peter Riley

NW Chairman.
